Use your own account, provide accurate information, and follow the rules for your event. Payout setup prepares recipient details; payments and tax paperwork are handled separately. Read the full terms below.
1. About this agreement
This End-User License Agreement and Terms of Use is between you and Professional Bowling Organization (PBO). It covers the PBO website, player portal, administrative tools, electronic signing service, and PBO’s QuickBooks connection, together called the Services. By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Event rules, membership purchase terms, payment terms presented at checkout, and separately signed agreements also apply to the activities they cover. These website terms do not replace a signed employment, sponsorship, or host center agreement. If there is a conflict, the specific agreement or event rule governs that subject.
2. Your account and responsibilities
Provide accurate information, use an email account you control, and keep your sign-in codes and private signing links secure. Do not share access to an account or use another person’s account without authorization. Tell PBO promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for information you submit and actions you authorize. Administrators and event staff may use only the access assigned to them. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf. Event participation remains subject to PBO’s published eligibility and competition requirements.
3. Permission to use the Services
PBO grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access and use the Services for your own participation in PBO activities or your authorized work for PBO. You may view and print your event information, scoresheets, and agreements for those purposes.
This permission does not transfer ownership of PBO software, logos, designs, or other protected materials. You may not resell the Services, misrepresent an affiliation with PBO, bypass access controls, introduce malicious software, disrupt score entry or other operations, or collect other users’ private information without authorization. Applicable law may permit uses that these terms cannot restrict.
4. Information you provide and public results
You keep your rights in information and documents you provide. You give PBO permission to use them as needed to operate the Services, administer events, process payments and agreements, and maintain related records, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Competition information, including bowler names, event entries, lane assignments, scores, standings, placements, and published prize awards, may appear publicly. Report errors to PBO so they can be reviewed under the applicable event rules. A displayed result or earnings total is not proof that a prize payment has been sent.
5. Membership, entries, and prize payments
Review the event schedule, eligibility requirements, fees, and applicable cancellation or refund terms before purchasing. An event entry must be paid and confirmed to appear as a registered entry. Creating a profile or starting checkout does not reserve a paid entry.
Prize awards are subject to verification and the event’s published rules. PBO may require completed payout details and an applicable tax form before sending a prize payment. Checks will be mailed within 14 business days after PBO has received all required payout paperwork, including complete payout details and the required tax form. This is the mailing deadline, not a guaranteed delivery date. Direct deposit timing will be communicated through the payout process.
Choosing a payout method or saving payout details does not itself send money. Contact PBO if you need help with a payment or a change to your payout details.
6. QuickBooks connection
The connection supports PBO’s internal prize-recipient administration. Only an authorized PBO administrator may connect PBO’s QuickBooks company through Intuit’s authorization page. Bowlers do not need to authorize access to their own QuickBooks company.
When connected and enabled, the Services can create or update a recipient contact in PBO’s QuickBooks company using the confirmed payee name, email, and supplied mailing address. The connection also reads company and recipient information to check the connection, match contacts, and review possible duplicates or conflicting changes.
PBO’s payout forms do not ask for bank account numbers or tax identification numbers. The recipient integration does not use or save those fields, send bank or tax invitations, file tax returns, or approve or send payments. Bank and tax setup and payments occur separately through PBO’s approved processes. Intuit’s own terms and privacy notice apply to its services.
The primary PBO administrator can pause recipient setup or disconnect QuickBooks in the administrative connection screen. App access can also be removed through QuickBooks. Disconnecting stops future use of that authorization; it does not erase existing PBO or QuickBooks records, reverse payments, or cancel an amount owed.
7. Electronic documents and signatures
The signing service presents a document and its signing requirements before submission. Review the entire document, confirm that your information is correct, and sign only if you intend to sign and have authority to do so. The signing process separately asks for consent to electronic signing.
PBO records signing and verification events to support the document’s audit history. These website terms do not substitute for the terms of the document being signed. Contact PBO before signing if you need a correction, a copy, or an alternative signing arrangement.
8. Availability and third-party services
PBO works to keep the Services accurate and available, but outages, delayed updates, and errors can occur. Schedules and results may be corrected under the applicable competition rules. Check the event’s current information and contact PBO if a technical issue affects your entry or participation.
Payment processors, Intuit, and other linked services operate under their own terms. PBO does not guarantee their availability or performance. To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here excludes obligations or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes and account access
PBO may update these terms and will show the revised date on this page. If a change requires notice or consent under applicable law, PBO will provide it. Updated website terms do not retroactively change a separately signed agreement.
PBO may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect accounts, enforce these terms or competition rules, or comply with law. You may stop using the Services and request account closure by contacting PBO. Closing an account does not automatically cancel an event entry, refund a purchase, or remove records that PBO needs to retain.
